I love how you've already informed the nieces and nephews not to do that!<br />I was just over reading about your trip. It sounds like you had such a great time. You and your husband must travel well together. She is an attractive woman and is probably buried in San Francisco near you. I swim with a bunch of older people and when they get started on their youth in Tulsa or Bartlesville, I learn more than any history book would teach me. That is so funny about your distant cousin being right there in Nice. Good luck with the picture identification!Berylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08386043271411304736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1474350601993629544.post-78609885655703110112012-10-27T05:23:52.017-07:002012-10-27T05:23:52.017-07:00hi beryl

My mother was always good to write names and dates but unfortunately, on the front, not the back. Something we always teased her about was on a trip to the zoo she made many animal pictures and wrote "Memphis Zoo On the front, including on the front of a picture of all we kids lined up. For some reason we always thought that hilarious -- that she had labeled us zoo animals.sandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17355232032181406759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1474350601993629544.post-54743616824484087202012-10-27T00:25:17.843-07:002012-10-27T00:25:17.843-07:00This reminds me, my mother's last living cousi...This reminds me, my mother's last living cousin is in Texas and he's 90 something. I finally tracked him down and have emailed one of his sons a few times - turns out he lives in Nice! But I need to send some of my mystery photos to the cousin to see if he remembers who they are. I gather he's becoming forgetful, but you always hear that the elderly can remember their youth the best, so my fingers are crossed! Thanks for the reminder!Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10239488936038510294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1474350601993629544.post-62402655366784807372012-10-26T23:20:41.546-07:002012-10-26T23:20:41.546-07:00I liked the idea of putting a fake aunt's name...I liked the idea of putting a fake aunt's name on the back and leaving this picture with my husband's other family pictures, but couldn't play such a joke on our kids.Berylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08386043271411304736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1474350601993629544.post-19875710653473382402012-10-26T21:49:06.312-07:002012-10-26T21:49:06.312-07:00I've been fairly persistant in tracking down t...I've been fairly persistant in tracking down the identities in our old family pictures, but you're right to remind me that I should tag many of our own family photos.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
