Trying something new, and I don't just mean the clothes. Visible Monday is such a fun concept. I hope I have given you a link to the originator of the concept and all the other participants' pictures. This jacket and pants are Victor Costa and the main reason I joined in the first Visible Monday. I have never worn them because I feel too conspicous in the jacket. It is what I first envisioned as a very visible outfit and one I should have worn a long time ago...what was I waiting for?
Amen and Amen! This jacket is just beautiful and looks very elegant on you....You look positively regal! Very much looking forward to reading more about you! ~Serene
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful jacket...we've got to help you think of a place other than the blogosphere to wear it. Sometimes it takes a day or two to get over our self-conscious. Would be a shame not to let the world SEE you in this.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I FREAKING LOVE that jacket! Good job! You just send it my way you decide not to wear it again! LOL
ReplyDeleteI forgot to put a link to the pattern company in my blog. Thank you for asking about it. It's a pattern company out of Australia.

Beryl, you must make that jacket a staple in your wardrobe. It is beautiful. I love, love, love embroidery. I have a brown velvet jacket that length that has roses embroidered on it. I get compliments every time I wear it.
ReplyDeleteYou look super in the outfit.
Beryl, that jacket is beautiful, on its own and especially on you! I'm with Terri and the other commenters: you have got to wear this out and about. Thanks for participating in Visible Monday!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous -- the others are right. It's so sophisticated while also being really unique and special. (Those 2 things don't always occur in tandem!) You can totally carry it off, too. It looks elegant and like it "fits" you -- It doesn't look like it's wearing you, if you know what I mean. Give it a try!
ReplyDeleteThe jacket is beautiful on you...it definitely needs to be worn! Debbie http://thriftygirlvintage.com
