My life is so exciting that I suspect everyone is quite jealous, but since I'm a nice person, I have tried not to brag too much. That being said, tomorrow morning I'm flying off to Paris for the week. Paris, France, not Texas. I know, I'd hate me too. What happens the week after Paris? I'm joining John in Hawaii, where is has a one week business trip planned. I'm lucky I have any friends at all.
Yes, I am jealous! I've been to Paris once and Hawaii once. I want to return to both some day. Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I am still packing - too excited to sleep. Guess that's what the long plane ride is for.
ReplyDeleteHa, you can salvage this friendship by posting lovely pictures of your journey. And I especially want to see one of you and Catherine.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we'll snap one at dinner. It takes a ton of makeup for me to photograph even half as well as she does looking tired with no lipstick - as she described that last lovely picture of her. I think it's her fabulous hair!
ReplyDeleteI don't know WHAT it is I even like about you! You STOLE the life that was meant to be mine! LOL I'm actually THRILLED for you! What an opportunity! Live it up girly! Hugs and safe travels! ~Serene
ReplyDeleteHey, some things are worth losing friends for. Why not enjoy the ride? Have a wonderful, wonderful time on both trips!
ReplyDeleteHey Serene - And you stole the hair and body that should have been mine, and I still like you - so we're even!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Thanks for the good advice. I'll do a little Hula in your honor on Waikiki Beach. Even if it rains - one of the perks of having endured so long in Seattle, is complete indifference to rain.
