Thought On The Adult Bedtime
Back from a relaxing week in Hawaii. Found out that I am not the kind of person who drags a laptop to the local Starbucks to access the Internet, even to read my email, much less to post anything. Since over 90% of my posting is done while I'm in bed, unless there is free late night Internet available, I'm probably reading a book instead. (Have I ever mentioned that my husband and I are a mixed couple - he's a (ugh) morning person? But we go to bed at the same time, so I have spent a lot of time watching him sleep.)

Glad the vaca was fun in Hawaii! Weird that I used to be a real night owl but since I started exercising and getting up about 13 years ago at 5 am...well, what do you know I've become a morning person hardly able to stay up past 10pm anymore!
ReplyDeleteBeryl, I know you had a great trip to Hawaii, but it's good to have you back with us! Looking forward to the wedding picture.
ReplyDeleteBill's a morning person as well. I have to be careful not to take his head off for being too chirpy before I've had enough coffee to cope! I sometimes abandon the computer and feel like I've been set free! Good on you not needing it all the time.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is a morning person too. I can go to bed at a reasonable hour and not sleep for many hours afterward. Plus, it takes me a long time to get started in the morning.
ReplyDeleteHi Carla! I tried for 6 months to change to my husband's schedule, but never could. It is so much easier to exercise before 5am, since you don't have much competition for the facilities, but I just couldn't keep it up.
ReplyDeleteHi Sanda! I meant to get a wedding picture up earlier, but had to change some software to get it done. Now I plan a string of pictures! Lovely news that I won the purse. My daughter was reading your blog and phoned me, since she knew my Internet wasn't working.
ReplyDeleteHi Shelley! The mixed marriage is difficult, but caffine is a help. For me it's tea.
ReplyDeleteHi Terri! My internal clock doesn't let me sleep early, so I appreciate it when my husband makes the effort and stays up late to do something with me. (Maybe once a year!)
