He is a beauty! Your post led me to read up on the differences between moths and butterflies. Turns out there is a lot of argument on the subject but skipping over the technical bits it's still interesting reading, I thought.
Shelley - Thanks for that link. Very interesting to someone like me who just lumps everything with big pretty wings together. I make greeting cards with rubber stamps, and I have never seen a moth stamp, but bet that there are more different stamps of butterflies than any other subject.
