One of the things I really missed while on the West Coast was the Cherry Mash Candy Bar. So I ran out and picked up a few - after I finished the small stash I had in the door of the refrigerator. And I found this scandalously expensive loaf of Granola Bread. Now, doesn't this bread look healthy? Perhaps even healthy enough to counteract those Cherry Mashes? I hope so.

Granola Bread And Cherry Mash Bars - Breakfast Of Champions

I love good bread. In fact, a bread and water diet wouldn't scare me in the least. Candy bars? I'd starve. My stomach just can't cope with much sugar. Yours must be cast iron...
ReplyDeleteThat bread looks delicious. I thought I remembered having a Cherry Mash candy bar, but now that I see the picture I believe I am mistaken; it does not look familiar at all to me. Well, having that combination is definitely better than a candy bar and a donut!!
ReplyDeleteHi Shelley - That's funny that you say my stomach must be "cast iron", because that is exactly what anyone who has ever eaten with me ends up saying eventually. I wonder if it's a French thing?
ReplyDeleteHi Sanda - It is good bread, and even better as toast with a cup of Chai Tea. Someone made a pan of Cherry Mash for a potluck that she served like brownies. Just as good as the store-bought.
