Mirror, Mirror - You Must Go And See This Movie!
Every woman who has ever suffered for beauty must see this movie - just for the Evil Queen (played by Julia Roberts) "spa" scene. I can't say anything else without spoiling it for you, so that all for now. Except for the part where I admit to having my hand over my eyes at the very beginning and maybe missed just a bit of the start, and still think it the best scene in the history of movies. Promise you'll report back after watching it, please!

I've added it to my list! I haven't seen The Artist yet, so I've got some catching up to do.
ReplyDeleteI could have left after the Spa scene, but then I would have missed the most outrageous wedding dress.
ReplyDeleteSounds like it could be fun. I can already imagine what you hid your eyes from, and I would be hiding, too!
ReplyDeleteI went with my husband and he laughed all through it. (The whole movie, that is. He didn't really understand why I thought the beauty treatment was the best part.)
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing this movie and I promise to report back my thoughts!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sanda - I don't promise you'll love the whole movie (although my husband and I did), but the beauty treatment scene is still cracking me up, three days later.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteI watched loads of films on the plane journey to and from Australia, but this wasn't available. Loved The Artist - far more clever than I'd expected. The story line in Hugo didn't keep me, but the costumes and the scenery are spectacular - set in Paris!
ReplyDeleteHi Shelley! You were in Australia? How cool! But nice to be home again, right? I was just in Dallas for two days and I'm glad to be home tonight.
