Gosh, the State Fair was one of the highlights of the year for me as a kid! Of course the only part of it that interested me was the midway, which I find quite sad. Don't remember ever looking at the animals and WORST OF ALL, I never ever ventured into the crafts section. Which is where I would head straight for now. I was such a pathetically narrow minded kid.
I used to love the county fair but haven't attended one in many years. This looks like a very cool one! Hope you enjoyed it. Did you eat a candy apple or cotton candy? That was the treat of choice back in the day.
Hi Shelley - I can imagine what fun the midway would be as a child. In your honor, I did today's post with all midway food booth pictures! I'll have to check and see if any of my ride pictures came out.
