Darn! I missed a trick and a great meal! Didn't even think to wear green... I've not been to Ireland on St. Pat's day, but I gather the Scots and I know the English don't do much with their saint's days. Not as sure about the Welsh. I suspect they are a bit more into it. A belated Happy Paddy's Day to you!
Hi Patricia, Sanda, & Shelley - That was my St Patrick's Day meal, plus the horseradish and mustard. We in the US love any excuse to celebrate. I'm told that we do more for Mexican Independence Day (May 5th) than is done in Mexico actually. I can believe it.
