Would You Buy Kennel No 5 From These Guys?

Here are some pictures that are more fun to look at than those Brad Pitts ones have been.  I got the idea from my friend, Catherine, who thanked me for putting up pictures of Zach's dogs.  And I thought, "Hey!  I have more pictures of Mozart and Beethoven and wouldn't they be nicer to look at?"

  1. Very cute. Does Beethoven have a nickname? It's a long name for a dog...for a human for that matter!

  2. What darling little doggies! Are they shitizhu (sp.)? Definitely better to look at than the scruffy brad Pitt although hair is similar! But looks better on the composers!

  3. Hi Shelley - When Zach got these little guys, he was the third attempt at a rescue, after their original owner got transferred overseas. Never having had a dog, his standards of acceptable behavior were pretty low (having the standards of behavior level set by a herd of cats who ruled our house with iron paws). He would have preferred more masculine dogs and wasn't that crazy about the names, which I'm sure were an homage to Martha Stewart who named her dogs after composers. And even more peculiar, Mozart is the one with the nickname, Momo, while Beethovan only answers to his whole name.

  4. Hi Sanda - Their mother was a Maltese and their father was a Yorkshire Terrier. During the Summer they wear their hair pretty short, but right now they are growing out a Winter coat for a little warmth.

  5. These doggies are adorable - Yes, I would buy Kennel No 5, or anything else, from them! Love their musical names. We had a terrier pup who looked a bit like your two, and his parents were called Telemann and Bach. Our little son called him Snoopy, quite a comedown from his lofty parents names.

  6. Hi Patricia - But Snoopy is an adorable name for a dog.
