See What I Meant About Target Jewelry?

I noticed that the jewelry buyer for Target must be watching Faux Fushia's Blog, since they came up with such designs as these.  They are plastic and don't have the "feel" that real stones and crystal have, but for less than $20, they did look cute. And if you loved the Prabal Gurung for Target collection, it's now 30% off, but the best part is that it is just about time for all those Ebay Sellers who bought all the stuff and have been trying to sell it at a huge profit, have to return it to the store. So there is more Parbal Gurung (check the shoe selection) to chose from, and on sale.

  1. I sometimes hear about this buy-it-at-Target, sell-it-on-eBay trend, but it makes no sense to me. Do people not realise they can just buy it at Target to start with? I don't wear bracelets often, they annoy me. The weather over here such as it is, more likely to wear a scarf than a necklace.

  2. I am not much of a colored jewelry person, but those pieces surely are colorful and great for those who enjoy such. I have made a resolution to buy no more costume jewelry. Since Target is off my beaten track I rarely go there. I know some folks have great success there finding deals. Did you buy any of those shoes? They look perfect for Easter!

  3. Hi Shelley - The thing with these Ebay sellers is that they buy all of it, so we regular shoppers can't find it when we go to Target. Pretty lame! I love bracelets, but have such a thin wrist that I have a difficult time finding ones that are small enough to fit properly. I love scarves, and until moving to Oklahoma wore them constantly. But that song about the wind coming sweeping down the plain is so right. I have had to chase after a scarf that's been just blown off of me by that darn wind more times than I care to remember. So I'm wearing more necklaces these days.

  4. Hi Sanda - I didn't buy any of the jewelry because I knew I wouldn't wear it. I like something colorful when we go to Hawaii, but not for everyday. How wise of you to just buy neutrals. I might have purchased the lime green shoes if they had my size, except I am more comfortable in a leather shoe, no matter how cute these were. But those colorful ones would be cute Easter shoes, now that you point that out.

  5. Wow, those stripey stilettos look really fabulous. I should venture in and see if they might be comfy. Usually putting an insert in makes them more cushy. (Or am I just old, having no cushion between my foot and the pavement is really painful for me these days...)
Just saw your other comment. Funny enough Beryl, I rarely wear jewelry either! how funny. I buy it then gift it to a friend.

  6. The Stripey shoes weren't bad at all. And there was an adorable skirt with a wide black lace border that exactly matched it for around $20.
I always put some kind of cushion in my shoes, usually just a clear arch support to compensate for my high arches. Don't think it's an age thing, just shoes being made much more cheaply these days - even some of the very expensive ones.
