California Thinks It's Hot (At 100 Degrees), But Then It's Never BeenTo Tulsa

These sort of scruffy pine trees mean that we finally made it to California and can rest for a bit. I've done all trip pictures and posts with my phone - which is a little limiting, but terrifically convenient. Driving on I-80 into California has you crossing Donner Pass. So glad it's Summer!

    I love Donner Pass, and then the descent into the Valley. Driven it countless times.
    Did you stay in Reno? Always a fun/cheap night.
    We finished off the potato salad tonight - yum!

      Hi Simone - We did stay in Reno - actually played a bit on the slot machines. Very fun! That Potato Salad recipe is a keeper. Can't believe it's less than a week ago we got together. Great party!
      On the subject of yum, we should be back the end of August, and John would love to grill again.

      Hi Shelley - Absolutely! I don't think Oklahoma is all that humid, not now that I've been to Georgia.
