One Of The Nice Things About Visiting My Family In Sacramento Is Everyone Feeding Me

Two days, two great lunches in Sacramento. First Chandos Tacos with my sister Claire and her husband John. He drives and we both pester him - she also won in the husband lottery. He's a great guy!  Thanks for the great lunch!

Claire is saying "You're welcome!"
Today Nick and Kelsey took me to Krush Burger with their mini-burgers and Sweet Potato Tater Tots!  So Good!

    1. Hi Jody - Those were the best mini-burgers I ever had. And my sister felt very special that you said, "Hello!"

    1. Hi Jeanne - I do love a good burger. In California they have these places called In-N-Out Burger that makes the most consistently good, cheap food, where you can get so much extra lettuce and tomato that it's almost a salad on a bun. My family is so much fun - I always enjoy seeing them. Anyone who knows me, knows how terrific I think my children are.

  3. Those burgers don't look "mini." Never had sweet potato tots but sounds good. Didn't know you had a sister; sisters are special!!

    1. Hi Sanda - The Sweet Potato Tots were wonderful, but I got some at the Sonic that I didn't even finish, so every place is different. I am doubly lucky - I have two terrific sisters. (I smile whenever I think of them!) I hope to get to spend a day with my other sister, Lynne this week. We often cook elaborate dishes together, but I'm hoping for a day of fabric shopping so I can have some projects to keep busy with on my Australian adventure.

  4. Hi Cindy - The burger place started out as a food truck. I have yet to find gourmet food tucks in Tulsa - but maybe it's not an Oklahoma thing.
