Living in Tulsa and Southern California Makes For An Interesting Life - Especially After All Those Grey Years In Seattle
He is a beauty! Your post led me to read up on the differences between moths and butterflies. Turns out there is a lot of argument on the subject but skipping over the technical bits it's still interesting reading, I thought.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differences_between_butterflies_and_moths
I can't believe all the interesting ones you see! This is amazing! I believe I would have thought it was a scrap of fabric and walked on by.
This is beautiful. I've never seen one like it. Have you figured out what kind it is?
Shelley - Thanks for that link. Very interesting to someone like me who just lumps everything with big pretty wings together. I make greeting cards with rubber stamps, and I have never seen a moth stamp, but bet that there are more different stamps of butterflies than any other subject.
Hi Carla - Thanks! You have the most beautiful flower and doggie pictures on your blog and I have all the bugs!
Sanda - I did think it was something else, and was shocked to see it was alive.
Terri - you have given me the name of the most unusual stuff, so I was actually hoping you would recognize it for me. I don't have a clue.
