Tuesday Road Trip

Ate lunch at this cute place on the way to Kansas City. Sat at this sweet little table. Food was almost free. And good.

  1. Very cute indeed. I love places like this. Very nice ironwork on those chairs, and I like the rustic little church/birdhouse? on display. Sandwiches look excellent.

    1. The sandwiches were very good and the tea was excellent too. There were lots of birdhouses to buy.

  2. Far far superior to Maccas! Honestly, I don't know why people go to those fast food chains when you could instead go somewhere lovely like this. Lunch looks yummy :)

    1. John was thinking of going to Subway, but this was right next door. It was a good choice.

  3. I love finds like this to eat. I'm not a fan of "country cafes" having eaten a ton of them over the years.

    1. Your blog is a good resource for good places to eat. Until I read you, I didn't even think of looking for good (or any other kind) of Korean food in Tulsa.

  4. Looks like a great place. I am amazed at the low prices on the menu. You won't find prices like that in the Bay Area - as you well know.

    1. The Bay Area is definitely more expensive than this. Funny thing is that when compared to Seattle prices, the Bay Area restaurants look cheaper. And you only saw half sandwiches, so the menu prices were for twice as much food as was on our plates.

  6. What a fun place for lunch. The prices look to be about the same as what one would pay where I live. I know, we're lucky not to live in places where everything is SO expensive. Well, everything is expensive everywhere -- just worse in some places.
