Leverage

Yes Leverage, not the Investing Strategy but the TV Show.  One of my favorite shows.  New season just started a few minutes ago.  They have relocated from Boston and are now operating out of a Brewery in Portland, Oregon.  (The fictional characters in the show, that is.)  They flashed a picture of this Brewery - it was the view from our bedroom window when we lived in a loft in the Pearl District in Portland, while getting our move to Tulsa ironed out.  No kidding!  John and I both looked at it and gasped. it was such a surprise. Then they ended up at the Wilsonville Museum of Flight, of which I am a member - since they have one of the most perfect B17's in the West.  And that kind of thing has to be rewarded!

  1. Oh, I am so out of it regarding TV shows. I have never heard of the one you mention. One day soon I may get around to watching something in addition to the evening news on NBC! I imagine that was a surprise to see that familiar building tonight!

  2. I don't know this show, either. It might have been fun to see if there were things I recognized from Boston, but maybe I would recognize Portland now, too! It must have been so fun to live in that district.

  3. What fun, seeing the familiar in a TV show! You must have been stunned. It will become a family favourite now.

  4. I've not seen the program, but it must make you feel like you're part of the action.

  5. Hi Sanda - TV is something my husband and I do together. He travels so much for business that he never goes out when he's home. And Leverage is a favorite of his, but you sort of need to see it from the beginning to understand it enough to enjoy it.

  6. Hi Anne - It was so much fun to live in the Pearl District of Portland for the Summer. Even when they pretended to be in Boston, the show was still filmed in Portland. We usually recognized Portland, but it had never been filmed from our old apartment building - Asa Lofts.

  7. Hi Patricia - I think you hit the nail right on the head when you said we must have been stunned - that's exactly how we felt!

  8. Hi Terri - It almost made us want to run back to Portland, so we could be part of the action! But we'd have to leave as soon as the rains started again. I just can't live another 9 months a year in grey weather.
