More Goodwill Bargain Brands

I mentioned a few days ago some of the brands that Goodwill doesn't know are special - therefore your will spend less for them.  These three items were less than $3 each.  Vivenne Tam (her own label, not some collection made for Target or H&M), Tory Burch, and authentic Prada.  I note "authentic" Prada, since you occasionally see a fake Prada purse for $35.  (Speaking of fake, I saw what has to be a fake Tommy Bahama shirt - and I had no idea there was such a thing.)

  3. What a steal! Yeah I noticed some mid-brands like J Crew, even Target can be priced higher than a more obscure but upscale brand like...Burberry or Pringles of London. Congrats on the Viv Tam and Prada scores!

  5. I would have to say that Tulsa actually has one of the BETTER Goodwill's I've visited.

  6. Hi Bella - You are so right about Pringle. I find some amazing cashmere here, some of it new, for $2 to $4. But if it's Target brand it would be $6. Still cheap, of course.
I sent the Prada and the Viv Tam to my son in Sacramento's girlfriend. She is tall and slender and will look great in it. (I still associate you with Sacramento, so I figured if one Sacramento woman love them, my son's Sacramento woman will too.)

  7. Hi Sanda - Did you go? I should have given you the secret to fun Goodwill shopping - take a girlfriend, or sister. (I am so jealous that you have a sister living so close!)

  8. Hi Terri - The Tulsa rich give their old (and lots of it is new) stuff to charity. I don't find that to be true a lot of other places. Southern California Goodwill's are so much more difficult to get bargains from.
