Worst snow in recent history, record breaking heat this summer, tornadoes, torrential downpours, drought - fine - these are new to me and I don't really know what to expect. But I know earthquakes, and the one we had tonight (just about 5 minutes ago) lasted too long! I told my husband it was at least a 5, which wouldn't have been overly exciting, but duration wise it was over 10 seconds. I wish I'd timed it, but I was busy getting all the cupboards closed. I'm expecting a few aftershocks. And having a few Baileys. And trying not to call the movers.
