Copper Bracelet From The '50's

I was shopping with the wife of one of the people my husband does business with. The woman is amazing! She can walk into a store and immediately find secret sales - racks of stuff I would love to own that is marked to at least 75% off and sometimes more. She lives in Chicago, and so far, all our shopping has been in towns that neither of us are familiar with. (San Antonio and Las Vegas.) I don't know how my friend (because this woman is definitely my friend) does it, but this cute tank top is one of her finds. It is goes perfectly with this Renoir brand Copper Bracelet from the 1950's.

  4. Beryl, I have several pieces of vintage copper jewelry. Once again, you and I have similar taste. I love your bracelet. It is very unique.

  5. My mother bought this bracelet at a store in Southern California in the late '50's. It was to reward herself for having given birth to the largest pair of twins ever (up until then) born in Riverside County. I wonder if it might have been early '60's. She might have need a few years to recover.

  8. Terri, I think my friend just has a 6th sense - kind of like how my ear buzzes when it's going to rain. (Ask me if I miss Seattle. No!) When she gets near really good sale merchandise, it's magnetic.
